15 Simple Plant-Based Snacks

With the non-stop nature of everyday life these days, we often find ourselves getting hungry between meals. That’s where plant-based snacks come in; having something easy and delicious to turn to at your desk or on-the-go can really keep you going. So often we’ll reach for the most convenient option, but all too often this means opting for something high in sugar or overly processed which won’t sustain your energy for long. All it takes is a little bit of forward-thinking - preparing a batch of energy balls or falafel at the weekend can set you up brilliantly for nutritious snacking throughout the week.

Of course, if you’re really short on time, every product in Deliciously Ella’s snack range is made with kitchen cupboard ingredients and never contains anything artificial.

But if you want to spend some time preparing some snacks yourself, here are some of our favourites.

Savoury Snacks

Savoury snacking is a really easy way to up your plant intake, as well as providing a great source of fibre and protein. A batch of a dip or hummus is a delicious option that you can switch up day-to-day by pairing them with different options from chopped veggies to crackers, pitta, or toast. Heartier choices like falafel will keep you going until your next meal and are easy to prep in advance.
