What is Prop 65?

We are really proud that we only use the safest and highest quality ingredients possible for all of our Deliciously Ella food products range; our products are all made in the UK and Europe in line with very strict European Food Standards.

Prop 65 warnings are only required under California Law. Prop 65 standards are amongst the most stringent globally and are often more stringent than even US Federal Standards.

Proposition 65 requires that businesses provide warnings to Californians about possible exposures to chemicals that cause harm. At Deliciously Ella we only ever use 100% natural ingredients in our food products, we never use artificial ingredients, preservatives or stabilisers, our decision therefore to share the Proposition 65 warning here is a standard precaution only.

“California’s Proposition 65 entitles California consumers to special warnings for products that contain chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm if those products expose consumers to such chemicals above certain threshold levels.
