These chocolate orange truffles are the perfect sweet biteΒ if you’re looking for a little something to offer guests at all your festive dinners and parties. They’re easy to make, wonderfully gooey and ever so delicious.

200g of medjool dates

zest of 1 orange

squeeze of orange juice

1 tablespoon of coconut oil

3 tablespoons of raw cacao (plus more for rolling the balls in)

Pinch of salt

Simply pit the dates and blend all the ingredients together in a food processor until totally smooth – make sure you only use a small squeeze of orange juice otherwise the mixture will be too wet!

Scoop a teaspoonful of the mixture into your hands and roll it into a ball, then roll the ball in cacao powder.

Repeat until you have used all the mixture, then place the balls in the fridge for a few hours to firm up.

Top Tip – When rolling the balls I like to rub a little coconut oil into my hands to stop the truffles mixture sticking too much.
