Raw Cacao and Walnut Truffle Bites
These decadent cacao and walnut truffles are like bites of heaven. They’re insanely delicious, just so unbelievably rich, gooey chocolatey. Filled with crunchy bites of walnuts, hazelnuts and chia and subtle hints of coconut oil and cinnamon.
Makes 25 truffles
– 2/3 of a cup of walnuts
– 2/3 of a cup of hazelnuts
– 3 tablespoons of cacao
– 1 tablespoon of almond butter
– 3 tablespoons of coconut oil
– 2 cups of dates
– 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
– 2 tablespoons of agave syrup
– 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
Simply place all the ingredients into a food processor together and blend for about 5 minutes until a gooey, sticky mixture forms. Don’t allow the walnuts and hazelnuts to become totally smooth as their little crunchy pieces really adds to the texture.
Roll the dough into little bite sized balls using your hands then refrigerate over night.
